(High School)
The Pre-Professional Program is a full-year, comprehensive training program that will stage three black box productions at various theatres in the DC area.
The first intensive program of this caliber in the DC metro area, Act Two @ Levine's Pre-Professional Program is designed to provide high school students with exceptional musical theatre training opportunities. Students actively participate in the creation process and build their skills in auditioning, acting, voice, movement and production. Levine’s partnership with DC area theatres offers students enhanced performance experiences and exposure to the professional theatre atmosphere.
Students accepted into this highly selective program will participate as performers in two of the black box productions and as an apprentice for a third production. Students will also take part in master classes led by highly qualified professionals in the field.
Past productions include RENT, Bat Boy the Musical, and Next to Normal.
