Registration Procedure

Registrations must be received prior to beginning studies for the academic year and must be accompanied by appropriate tuition and fees as described below. Full class/lesson tuition is due prior to the start of the semester unless opting for a payment plan. Incomplete forms (including missing or incorrect payments and missing day/time/length of lesson) will delay processing and could result in loss of placement.

NOTE: Students registering for fewer than 18 weeks per semester must obtain teacher permission.

Registration may be done

Private Lessons

New Students
New students seeking private lessons should fill out the Online Private Lesson Application or download the Private Lesson Application Form - PDF file (not the registration form) and send or fax it to the Admissions Office. The Chair of each department will place students, as availability permits. After placement with an instructor has been confirmed (with an established day, time, and lesson duration) students must register online complete and submit the Registration Form with appropriate fees and tuition prior to the first lesson.

Returning Students
After confirming day, time, and length of lesson with your current instructor, register online or complete and submit the Registration Form with appropriate fees and tuition prior to the first lesson.

If there have been any changes in your emergency medical information or if you have not previously submitted an Emergency Medical Form, please be sure to fill out a Student Emergency Medical Form before registering.

Spring Semester Re-enrollment
If you choose to register for only one semester,you will have to re-register for the subsequent semester. You will not automatically be re-enrolled. If you choose to re-enroll in the Tuition Systems Payment Plan, an additional fee of $35 will be charged. See our payment plan options.

Late Registration
A limited number of group classes allow late registrations with the instructor’s permission. Students registering late for classes will be required to pay full tuition (including the registration fee).

Classes

Registration for most group classes can be accomplished by registering online or submitting a complete Registration Form with appropriate fees and tuition. If an audition is required, please contact the Campus to arrange a day and time.

Spring Semester Re-enrollment
For group classes designated as yearlong courses, it is mandatory that you register for the entire year. There will be no tuition credit or refund granted after the 3rd lesson of the fall semester.

Late Registration
