Dean's & President's Lists

The Dean’s and President’s Lists are enrichment programs designed for all students of all ages and abilities enrolled in private instruction at Levine. Students in traditional and Suzuki lesson are eligible to participate. These programs are designed to help students develop into fine, well rounded and successful musicians and provide, with your teachers help and guidance, a goal to work towards for each semester.

The Dean’s List is entirely effort based and the President’s List has slightly more demanding requirements and is effort and merit based. Both programs include a list of activities including: practice, listening, taking a jury, theory/enrichment class, concert attendance, performance, reading enrichment and a volunteer activity. Some activities are required, while others you can choose from for the semester.

Applications for both programs are available at each campus and online at the beginning of each semester. If you have any questions about the Dean’s or President’s Lists please contact Maria Mathieson, Assistant Dean, at 202-686-8000, ext. 1102 or email mmathieson@levineschool.org.
